This policy explains how Developer X collects, uses, stores, and protects personal information when you visit developerx.org, submit a form, download a resource, apply for a role, or work with us as a client, partner, or vendor.
Developer X (“we”, “us”, “our”) designs and builds software, cloud platforms, and digital products for startups and enterprises. Our primary office is in Islamabad, Pakistan, with delivery hubs elsewhere.

This policy covers the public website, contact and get-started forms, careers applications, partner inquiries, newsletter or download requests (if offered), and ordinary business communications related to those channels.
Client project work may be covered by a separate data processing agreement, statement of work, or master services agreement. Where those conflict with this policy on project data, the signed agreement controls.
We collect only what we need to respond to you, deliver work, operate the site, and meet legal or security obligations.
Most personal data comes directly from you. We also receive limited technical data automatically when you load the site, and we may receive information from partners when you ask them to introduce you to us.
We use personal data for the purposes below. We do not sell personal data and we do not rent marketing lists.
Depending on where you live, we may rely on one or more of the following: your consent (for optional cookies or marketing), performance of a contract or steps prior to a contract, our legitimate interests in operating a B2B website and securing it, and legal obligations.
We share data with processors who help us run email, hosting, analytics, video meetings, accounting, and communications — only as needed for those services and under confidentiality obligations.
We may disclose information if required by law, regulation, or valid legal process, or to protect the rights, property, and safety of Developer X, our clients, our people, or the public.
If we restructure or sell part of the business, personal data may transfer to the successor under equivalent protections.
Inquiry and sales records are kept as long as needed to handle the conversation and any follow-on work, then deleted or archived under our retention schedule.
Candidate materials are retained for the hiring cycle and a limited period afterward so we can reconsider fit for related roles, unless you ask us to delete sooner.
Client contract and billing records are kept for the period required by law and ordinary business practice.
Server logs are kept for a limited operational period unless we must retain them longer for security or legal reasons.
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or restrict personal data we hold, to object to certain processing, or to request portability of data you provided.
Send requests to contact@developerx.org. We may need to verify your identity before acting. You may also lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority in your country where that applies.
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures appropriate to the risk: access controls, encrypted transport where supported, least-privilege access for staff, and vendor reviews for systems that process personal data.
No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure. If we become aware of a breach that affects your personal data, we will notify you and regulators as required by applicable law.
Our team and vendors may process data in Pakistan, the United Kingdom, the United States, the European Economic Area, and other countries where we or our processors operate. We take steps appropriate to the destination so data remains protected.
This website is not directed at children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal data from them. If you believe a child has provided data, contact us and we will delete it.
The site may link to third-party sites, social networks, or map tiles. Their privacy practices are governed by their own policies. We are not responsible for content or processing on those properties.
We may update this policy as our services or the law change. The “Last updated” date at the top of the page will change when we do. Material changes may also be highlighted on the site. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised policy where permitted by law.
